This is an exciting opportunity to join our boarding community at Ardingly College as a House Supervisor and play a key role in creating a warm, supportive “home from home” for our pupils. Working closely with the Housemaster/Housemistress and wider pastoral team, you’ll be a visible, trusted presence in the House—supporting students’ welfare, overseeing daily routines, and ensuring the smooth running of domestic operations.

This is a varied and people‑focused role, ideal for someone with a warm, organised and proactive approach. You’ll build positive relationships with pupils, help maintain high standards of wellbeing and behaviour, liaise with medical and pastoral teams, and contribute to the vibrant life of the House. Strong communication skills, empathy and the ability to remain calm and consistent are essential.

If you enjoy working as part of a dedicated team and want to make a meaningful difference to young people’s lives within a busy boarding school environment, we would love to hear from you.

This is a non-residential role, working throughout term-time plus 3 additional weeks to support with the turnaround of Houses for use over holiday periods and training.
