The Vacancy
We are seeking a passionate and nurturing EYFS Educator to join our thriving Early Years team at Ardingly College Prep School. This is a fixed-term maternity cover role, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and high-achieving environment.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality early education in line with the EYFS framework and our Discovering My World curriculum, supporting children aged 2–5 to learn, explore, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences
- Foster early development in literacy, phonics, maths, and communication
- Observe, assess, and support each child’s progress and next steps
- Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and families
- Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing learning environment
About You:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (essential)
- Experience working with children aged 2–5
- Warm, enthusiastic, and reflective practitioner
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
