This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic, imaginative, and inspirational teacher to join a thriving Computer Science department from September 2025, on a fixed term basis for the academic year 2025-26, with the possibility of being extended.
We are looking for candidates who have the energy and enthusiasm for the teaching of IT and Computer Science within the framework of a high-achieving independent co-educational day and boarding school. Excellent subject knowledge, innovation, strong pedagogical skills and organisation will be highly valued.
The successful candidate will be required to teach IT and Computer Science to Years 7, 8 and 9, and Computer Science at GCSE. The ability to teach A level Computer Science would be advantageous.
Participation in the school’s busy extra-curricular programme is expected of all teaching staff and there is considerable scope for staff to get involved in a wide range of activities.
Ardingly College has its own generous salary scale and the financial package offered will be commensurate with the responsibilities of the post and the experience of the person appointed. Accommodation may also be available.
