Ardingly College is seeking to appoint a part-time Nurse to be responsible for providing a clinically effective, high quality service of nursing care to pupils and first aid care to all members of the College community.
The successful candidate will be a Registered General Nurse (Level 1) with previous experience of working with children. Applicants should have the ability to relate well to pupils.
This role is open to current Band 6 Nurses or experienced Band 5 nurses seeking their first unsupervised role.
Hours of work are on a shift basis, working 8 or 12 hour shifts to provide 24 hour, 7 day week provision during term-time only. Applicants need to be able to offer a minimum of 24 hours. The role involves shift work, including nights and weekends on a rota basis. For any night work the Nurse on duty will be provided with a room on site overnight. The salary will be based on Band 6 and holiday pay will be included within the salary.
The salary for this role is £19,915.67, 24 hours per week for 34 weeks per year (during term time only), plus 2 weeks to cover inset days and training. The closing date for applications is 5pm, Friday 11th October 2924.
