We are seeking an imaginative and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics to join our thriving and successful Maths Department from September 2024.  For those seeking additional responsibilities, there is the possibility of taking on an Assistant Head of Department role. 

 

Ideally, the successful applicant will be a well-qualified and capable graduate with an enthusiasm for the teaching of Maths within the framework of an independent co-educational day and boarding school.

 

The successful applicant will be expected to teach to Further Mathematics Advanced Level and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma Level.

 

Innovation, flair and vision will be highly valued and a willingness to contribute to the co-curricular programme is essential.  Other valued attributes include the ability to work under pressure, contribute new ideas, work well in a team and flexibility.

 

Ardingly has its own generous salary scale and the financial package offered will be commensurate with the responsibilities of the post and the experience of the person appointed.

 

Participation in the school's busy extra-curricular programme is expected of all teaching staff and there is considerable scope for staff to get involved in a wide range of activities.
